Signing In

On first visit you’ll land on the sign-in screen. You can:
  • Continue with Google
  • Continue with Microsoft
You need a Google or Microsoft account to sign in — Tablix does not offer a guest/no-account mode.

The Dashboard (Home Screen)

After signing in you land on your home dashboard, which has:
  • Create new — opens a blank spreadsheet
  • Import files — upload a file to start from. Supported formats: .xlsx, .csv, .json, .xls, .sheet
  • Use Template — opens the template gallery
  • Recent Spreadsheets — your files, synced via connected Google Drive. Toggle grid or list view, and search by name
  • Trash — removed files can be restored or permanently deleted
  • Settings — account settings
  • Integrations — connect external data sources
  • Your profile menu (bottom-left) — account email and Logout
.xls (legacy Excel format) shows a compatibility warning modal, since it isn’t imported the same way as modern formats. Convert to .xlsx first if you run into issues.
If Google Drive isn’t connected yet, the dashboard prompts you to Connect Google Drive so spreadsheets can be saved and synced.

Selecting a template loads a pre-built .sheet file with data, formatting, and charts already in place, which you can then customize freely.

Creating Your First Spreadsheet

Start a spreadsheet

Click Create new on the dashboard (or open a template/import a file).

Land in the editor

You land in the spreadsheet editor with an empty grid and one sheet tab.

Add data

Start typing into cells, or use Import from within the editor to bring in a CSV/XLSX/JSON file.

Try the AI

Open the AI Analyst sidebar any time you want the AI to build something for you instead of doing it by hand. See AI Assistant.

Saving Your Work

Files are saved as Tablix’s native .sheet format and synced to your connected Google Drive. You can also export at any time to CSV, XLSX, PDF, or HTML — see Spreadsheet → Import & Export.

Plans & File Limits

Tablix has three plans:
When you hit the Starter plan’s file limit, a modal prompts you to upgrade. See Payment & Billing for the full feature breakdown of all three plans and the complete checkout flow.
