“Dashboard” refers to two related things in Tablix: your home screen for managing spreadsheet files, and multi-chart dashboards you can build on a sheet.

The Home Dashboard

This is the screen you land on after signing in. It contains:
  • Create new — start a blank spreadsheet
  • Import files — bring in a .xlsx, .csv, .json, .xls, or .sheet file
  • Use Template — open the template gallery
  • Recent Spreadsheets — files synced from your connected Google Drive
    • Toggle between grid (card) and list view (your preference is remembered)
    • Search files by name
    • Use the ”⋮” menu to move a file to Trash
  • Trash — a separate page listing removed files, which can be restored
  • Settings and Integrations links in the left sidebar
  • Your account profile (avatar/email) with a Logout option
If Google Drive isn’t connected, you’ll see a prompt to connect it before your recent files can sync.

Building a Multi-Chart Dashboard on a Sheet

Rather than a separate “dashboard” screen inside a workbook, Tablix lets you assemble multiple charts on a single sheet — either manually (adding several charts side by side via the Chart editor) or by asking the AI Assistant for one.
Try: “Create a sales dashboard” or “Build a dashboard for this data”
When your prompt mentions a dashboard, Tablix:

Looks at your data

Reads your sheet’s columns and a few sample rows to understand what’s available to chart.

Comes up with a few chart ideas

Picks 4 different, varied charts that make sense for your data — if you named a topic (e.g. “profit dashboard”), every chart stays focused on that topic instead of being generic.

Builds them one by one

Each chart is generated and placed on your sheet in sequence, tiling neatly next to each other with a consistent color palette.

Confirms when done

You get a short summary message once all the charts are in place, instead of a message per chart.
